XGEVA (120 mg) injection is used to prevent skeletal-related events (such as fractures, spinal cord compression, or radiation to bone) in adults with advanced malignancies (solid tumors) or multiple myeloma. It is also used to treat giant cell tumors of the bone that cannot be removed by surgery and to treat cancer-induced high calcium levels.
